Why we ask:if you are in the EU or the UK we are legally required to charge VAT on your grade and pass it to your country's tax authority. Tax law also requires us to keep a record of how we decided. Everywhere else, no VAT applies and the price is unchanged.
What we do with it:we store the resulting country and nothing else. We work out a country from your connection and then discard your IP address — we never store or log it — and we use your browser's timezone and language as corroboration. No cookies, no analytics, no third-party trackers, and none of this is used to identify you.
What it cannot do: this adds to the evidence, it does not override it. If your connection and browser both say you are in the EU, selecting another country will not remove the VAT — it just records that the signals disagreed.
Delegation lets you grade NFTs held in a cold wallet using your hot wallet. Your NFTs stay in cold storage and never move. Setup is a one-time two-step process.
Go to delegate.xyz, connect your cold wallet, and delegate to your hot wallet address. This is a small on-chain transaction. Your NFTs never move.
